1. Who we are

TapeSim ("we", "us") is a software product operated by Marko Grdinić, an individual based at Gabonjin 87, 51511 Malinska, Croatia. Contact: support@tapesim.app.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases — meaning Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record, handles billing and applicable taxes, and your contract of sale is with them, while the software itself is provided by us under these terms.

2. What TapeSim is

TapeSim is a desktop software application for replaying historical market data and practicing order-flow trading with simulated orders and fills. It is an educational and practice tool only.

3. Not financial advice

TapeSim does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Simulated results do not represent real trading and are not indicative of future results. Nothing in the software or on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. You are solely responsible for any real trading decisions you make.

4. Licenses

A paid subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use TapeSim while your subscription is active. A license may be activated on a limited number of machines (currently up to 3). You may not share, resell, or redistribute your license key or the software.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Subscriptions are billed through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, who acts as Merchant of Record. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.

6. Your own data & third-party services

TapeSim may let you download market data using credentials or accounts you provide for third-party data services. You are responsible for complying with those services' terms and for any costs they charge.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, circumvent the license check, or use TapeSim for any unlawful purpose.

8. Warranty & liability

TapeSim is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, arising from use of the software.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
